Acceptance
By using language-lab.io or joining the beta waitlist, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site. The site is operated by Settlebuddy Technologies (India).
The service
Language Lab is currently a pre-launch site where you can read about the product and join a waitlist. The app itself is not yet available. We may change, pause, or discontinue any part of the site at any time, and content is provided for general information without any guarantee of accuracy or completeness.
Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, and at least 13) to join the waitlist. By signing up you confirm you meet this requirement.
Joining the waitlist
Provide an email address that is yours and accurate. We’ll use it only as described in our Privacy Policy, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
Acceptable use
Don’t use the site unlawfully, don’t attempt to disrupt or breach it, don’t scrape or harvest data, and don’t submit other people’s personal data without their permission.
Intellectual property
The Language Lab name, logo, content, design, and software are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to view the site for personal, non-commercial use. No other rights are granted.
No warranty
The site is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, and uninterrupted availability.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, or any mandatory rights you have as a consumer in your country.
Governing law & your consumer rights
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, where our operator is established. However, if you are a consumer, you keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence (for example, EU/UK consumers retain their local statutory rights), and you may bring proceedings in your local courts where the law allows.
Changes
We may update these Terms as the product develops (e.g. when accounts and the paid app launch) and will revise the date above. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
